Short version: we collect as little as possible. The plugin doesn't track you, your maps never pass through our servers, and we don't sell data.

What we collect

Waitlist and updates: your email address and, if you tell us, what you map. Used only to send launch news and product updates. Stored with Cloudflare.
Purchases: Paddle.com processes your order as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment and billing details under its privacy notice; we receive your name, email, country and order details so we can deliver the product and support you. We never see your card details.
Support emails: whatever you send us, to answer you.
Website statistics: if we measure visits, we use cookie-free statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that don't track you across sites.

What the plugin does

Web Map Kit runs on your computer. It sends nothing to us: no analytics, no telemetry. It talks only to your own Cloudflare account, using the token you give it, which is stored in your QGIS profile on your computer. Your maps and data go straight from your computer to your Cloudflare account.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Order records as long as tax law requires (Paddle keeps its own records).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or unsubscribe at any time, by emailing [email protected]. Every update email has an unsubscribe link.

Sharing

We share data only with the services that run MapShip: Paddle (payments), Cloudflare (website, storage and email routing). We don't sell or rent personal data.
